Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a salon that is dedicated to providing the most relaxing environment to have salon services in, to provide the most up to date services available, in a environmentally sound atmosphere, to use the most earth friendly and personally safe products available, to recycle, reuse and to keep the waste to a minimum. The staff will be involved in continuing education to stay up with trends, techniques and advancements in the beauty field.

Linda Jensen - A Professional Overview

While in High School Linda's interest with hair began. She was restyling and cutting her girlfriends hair for fun. They were so pleased and loved it so much that they encouraged her to make it her career.

She took their advice, went to Beauty School and became a licensed cosmetologist in 1967. Her fascination with hair continued to grow from that point on. She was so interested in the field that she began working with Jeri Redding and his product line, Jhirmack in the 1970's. He was one of the most advanced innovator of products the beauty profession has ever seen.

She later worked for Redken as a district Sales manager, teaching sales consultants and salons about the newest products and techniques.

She has also worked as an educator for Farouk Systems in California and was taken to Texas, Holland, England, France and Cancun with the company.

She has worked with Joico, teaching products, color and perm techniques. The last company she worked with was ProDesign/Grund. They are known for their advanced chemistry of hair and reconstruction as well as their razor cutting and their hair straightening techniques.

Her knowledge of hair chemistry and cutting techniques have flourished and expanded over the years. She believes that education is essential to grow and be up to date in what is happening in the beauty industry.

So far in 2008 she has attend 1 International Symposium, 2 regional hair shows, 3 hands on cutting classes, 5 cutting demos, 1 straightening class, 1 waxing class, 3 salon management and motivational classes, an up-do class as well as an all day eyelash extension class.
